MOORLAND HERD 99 (Non-Pedigree) - Sarah Dart - Info and Contact details for Herd 99 - has three colt foals born and bred on Molland Moor, sired by the pedigree licensed Herd 23 stallion Knightoncombe Royal. They are all halter trained and leading.

Herd 23 Moorland Exmoor Foals
It greatly benefits the foals to go to their new homes as soon as possible after their inspection, so they can start their socialisation and to save them being kept in the barn for a long period. There is no turnout for them at the farm during the winter months.
Herd 23 is the oldest family owned herd of Exmoor ponies in the world and contains some of the oldest and most prestigious Exmoor pony bloodlines.
The herd is famous for its bright bay/reddish/golden colouring and the ponies are of an excellent size, strength and type. They make fantastic riding and performance ponies. And of course, they are also well evolved to thrive as conservation grazing ponies.
This is a truly semi-feral herd with semi-feral stallions running out on Withypool and Anstey Commons.
